THIS is one of our coolest sets ever. 3 DVDs, packed with rare materials.

You'll also find wind tunnel testing, Pressure suit footage, Scott Crossfield in an X-15 simulator, windblast testing on the rocket sled, XLR11 and XLR99 engine testing, the rollout of the X-15 and the A2.

I get questions frequently from international customers about region coding. ALL of our products are REGION 0, open encoded for worldwide play. They always have been, and always will be. I know that Amazon UK in the past has listed our products as Region 1. They are not. They have always been Region 0 (even the versions that were issued through Fox). Spacecraft Films' products are open encoded and we have customers all over the world that enjoy them.

Our 3-DVD Challenger set is now back in stock and available. Featuring 3 DVDs packed with rare material, from several looks at the accident and how it occurred, to Reagan's complete speech the afternoon of January 28th, to the Memorial service at JSC and 2.5 hours of material documenting the training and prep for the mission... and that's just the first disc!
The second disc contains the first press conference that afternoon, the Flight Director press conference from the next day, a briefing on the salvage efforts, on the finding of the key piece of the right hand solid rocket booster, multiple views of the launch with the air to ground AND the flight director's loop, as well as an annotated series of launch views showing key evidence.
Disc 3 contains material from the "Rogers Commission," with key testimony and evidence on the accident cause. Over 3 hours of material from the commission.
This set is the most complete audio-visual record ever assembled on Challenger, and has remained one of our most popular sets.

I made some info changes to the product page, listing the running times and showing the menus for all of the 10 DVDs. I've been getting a number of requests for more info on content, and thought this would better show what's on the set. I must say, when I started out I really didn't expect it to have well over 22 hours of material. Not all of the 10 DVD shuttle mission collections will have this much. I suspect we'll see the next few have less, and then as we get closer to the present the amount will increase again. Doing a rough look at some of the later missions the challenge will be keeping the missions to only one disc each.

Apparently a lot of vacations happen this time of year, and I'm still getting emails about missing last weekend's 10% discount offer (use the coupon code "TEN" when you checkout), so I have extended it through this Sunday, October 9th.

First... I'm not sure I've mentioned one of our other sites that we maintain... First Lunar Landing This site features the restored/enhanced EVA, along with the 16mm film and the photos at the moment they were exposed on the lunar surface. This piece is similar to the second disc on the Apollo 11: Men on The Moon DVD set. We've discussed offering this as a bluray, but that remains unsure.
And secondly, the Apollo 11 Saturn V Camera E-8 footage with narration that has been featured widely on various Vimeo channels, and soon will be featured on Adult Swim. On Vimeo it has received over 1 million plays. Of course tons of Saturn V material is available on our 3-DVD Saturn V Set or our I Love Rockets Combo.
