Many of our customers have been asking about our products and if they will be streamed. I am happy to say, yes, they will - but the iPad offers so much more as an interface that we'll be doing it through apps. For other tablets as well? We'll have to see on that.
Just in time for the 50th Anniversary of John Glenn's first orbital flight out Friendship 7 app is now available in the app store.
This app features all of the audio from both the onboard recorder and the flight director's loop, synchronized with a Mercury Mission Control interface. The app also gives you access to over 4 hours of video through your Wifi connection. You'll also find a Mercury cockpit with popovers for each of the controls. We also have a new website for support of our applications: www.spacecraftapps.com.
Next up (in a couple of weeks) is our first Apollo 11 app. We'll post details as they become available.
And we're also working on the pending DVDs and shipping (especially Space Shuttle sets) every single day. I have an announcement on a couple of the pending release sets coming up in just a few days. We hope you continue to enjoy our unique DVDs as well as the new offerings from the app store. Just as they always have, each of them will be packed with material and bring a unique view to the subject matter.
Any chance of an iPhone version?

Just downloaded it today. Thanks for the great app! Works very well on the iPad. Can't wait for future releases. Is there anyway to get the "needs to be connected to wifi" notification to stop popping up every time one clicks on a video stream?
Also, I no longer own a DVD or Blu-ray. Any chance we will be seeing all the video sets up on iTunes any time soon?

I downloaded the Friendship 7 app onto my iPad 2 and it is fantastic. Would be great to have something like that for all manned missions if possible. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to finally getting the CAPE set.
