Working with some footage this afternoon...

And thought I'd pass along a rarely seen clip from Apollo 16. It's on one of the black and white magazines from the onboards, and shows Young and Duke suiting up in the LM before undocking.

This past weekend while working on a stock footage project I ran across a generic tape I got some time ago. The transfers aren't great (it was from the NASA stock library) but I went ahead and put it on Vimeo and will share here for those interested in X-planes. The piece is silent.

Ran across a gem... that's always great to share...

This past weekend I was doing some work tracking down some shots for a stock footage request. Every now and then I get these requests, usually related to a commercial or promo, for particular shots representing one thing or another. 

My favorite request one time was a footage request for a commercial in Australia. They only wanted the "sexy" footage from the Moonwalks. I suspect we all have different opinions about what that footage might be. I told them I'd do my best.

Anyway, I ran across the footage taken during Apollo 12 when the Sun was eclipsed by the Earth. So since it is Monday, I thought I would share.
